We are always looking for new information, and especially photos, which follow up on recent activities or look forward to new activities.
Photos should ideally show:
• People/members taking part in local history or archaeology activities, in our core geographical area, or
• Items of historical interest/finds from the same area.
Photos should be accompanied by:
• A short description, e.g. “Open Meeting January 2024”, or “Finds from Bethlehem Street Dig”, and
• The name of the copyright holder, or ‘Stock Photo’ if it comes from a free-to-use archive.
All text needs to be brief and written to engage the reader, for example, a paragraph or a few lines. If more lengthy supporting documents are attached, they would only be attached as a downloadable PDF or posted in the Blog section.
Photos and text need to be sent separately, not within a document.
